A Greener GP workover

Having shot the stopper events at the local Big Game Rifle Club it's time for the Greener to see a new lease on life. It would have been nice to put a paradox barrel on it just to be different but I'll probably have to settle for a fully rifled 22" or 24" with a 1 in 60 twist.

That's just the start of it, I've seen barrel profiles from straight tube, tapered, and on to 'classic' english profiles. As I'm down hear in Australia can anyone list barrelmaker's websites for me? Ones that have a rundown on profiling would be especially well recieved.

I have a name for an english barrelmaker that may still make paradox barrels but no other contact details so if anyone knows another way to lay my hands on a proper paradox barrel without selling my firstborn then I'd appreciate that too

Cheers
Oz

Re: A Greener GP workover

Ernie Stalman of Badger Barrels Inc was the man who helped Holland and Holland redesign their new Paradox guns and if there is a nicer person to talk to, I don't know about him. The best thing to do would be to call him on the phone and talk to him about your plans.

Remember that you need to post pictures here when you start work on your gun. There is an open forum invitation to members to show projects off.

Good hunting!

I don't know if this might help. Fabarm make a long screw in internal rifled choke for their series of double guns. It might not be beyond a good gunsmith to modify your GP to take this and a conventional Fabarm choke also. This having "ball and buckshot" versatility.
