there is no guarantee of my having my small-bore rig ready for "goats" and all of the wyoming non-resident stuff I have says 1-31 was the deadline... interesting...

as for p-dogs, thats the most attractive opportunity to me... lots of practice!

I'm just not sure if I have a rifle that is up to snuff...

I could re-scope the 25-06, but that's not a sure-fire solution as it may have other issues that need working out, and its a bit big for dogs... and I'd still have to find the money for it (it currently has a variably 3-4x50 weaver on it... its supposed to be a 3-9, but 5-9 don't work).

below that.... I might be able to borrow a 22-250 (slight chance), elsewise, its 22LR or bust!

unless, of course, you guys hunt p-dogs with big-bores too!!!
