Actually, you have until March 15 for the goat draw. I have a couple of other non-residents coming in for goat hunts if they draw out. Let me know if you're interested and we'll talk about areas. I'm not an official guide and charge no fees. Hunters wanting a true trophy should go with a real outfitter. If a nice 15" buck would trip your trigger, I'd have no problem getting you into the field and on such a critter. I'm in Casper which is centrally located. We have excellent herds in all directions with no more than an hour's drive. Casper has plenty of motels, bars, and other necessities! And, if you're really interested in pasture poodles, the season is just around the corner. The big males are already out and about in 8" of snow and 28 F day temps! Crazy bastards!! They are so inviting when I am searching bunnies, but to take these animals would cause harm to populations. The females will arise in a couple of months as they prepare to give birth to the future targets of Wyoming ![]() Let me know what you think. |
