My brother gun is 870 remington with synthetic stock. Most common gun for hare is 12 gauge shotgun. 22lr is illegal for hares here and rifle is quite seldom seen in hare hunt.
I use rifle mostly if i coinsidently see hare during foxhunt but normally i use shotgun.
