Ann: It was unit 17..one of the only areas that you can hunt bulls in the rut with a rifle without a lotto type draw. When you see the country, you'll understand why! Vertical!

Bonanza: It being a drop camp, that was part of the price...after any game is taken, you get on the radio that night and they send in packers with mules to take it out for you. This hunt made me realize that Elk hunting without a plan to get out an animal that big is silly. If we were to pack that thing out it would have killed us! Especially considering how far in we were.

Elephant man: Believe it or not, I'm lucky enough to have an elk hunt in CO scheduled for the 24th of Oct with a friend! Somewhere near Steamboat. If I get lucky again I will post.
