For praticality, the .376/06IMP wins with identical capacity to a .375 Hawk/Scovil, 78gr. water capacity. It shoots 235's at 2,845fps, 270's at 2,650fps and 300's at 2,470fps, none are case stretching loads in my rifle - 25" tube. In B.C. it does it all perfectly well.
: Most favourite is a .458 2", with tied for second place with the .375, a 7x57 Mauser on an old BRNO.
