Seems a hunter shot a grizzly on the edge of its den, waited to make sure it was dead, then went to get the bear. He was trying to roll it over when another bear either came out of the same den or from nearby, and jumped the hunter. The hunter got off one shot, but the bear began to maul him. The hunter's partner was close by (about 40 yards away) and shot the bear with his rifle - a 220 Swift and killed it. The bear fell on the first hunter.

The mauled hunter was medivaced out and should make a good recovery.
