You can do a guided, over bait, week in Idaho for
about $1700 or so. Success rate is about 100%. Black
bears cost about $1000 to mount into a rug, maybe a bit
more. Meat processed locally is about $1.00 a lb. for
sausage if you take in clean quarters, no fat. Good eating
as there are no wild onions or carrion around there. The
wolves havn't chased all the bears away, yet. PM me if
