I believe I'd use a light weight acrtic grease and oil before going IF it were sub freezing. The white moly lithium grease should be fine. I've used it at -75 F (chill factor of -100) up north and it still pumped thru a grease gun for lubeing a truck. There are many different arctic grade oils that should be fine.
