Iqbal.... The Rocky Mountain Goat is the only goat native to North America and is closely related to the tahr and serow. It is not a true goat like the Ibex and Chamois. The Dall sheep is one of the four North American sheep that comprises the Grand Slam. They are found in Alaska, the Yukon and Northwest Territories. It is a true sheep. Gryphon.... Living in Colorado the elevation didn't have as great an effect on me as it would on a flatlander from Texas.
I lived at 5200 feet so physically I was better prepared for that elevation but no one functions as they would at a lower elevation. You climb some and then rest and catch your breath. You do this over and over till you reach the top!
