Nice pics, who's elk ended up in the wate. It sometimes amazes me that animals die in the most difficult places, then you work your backside of to load them. A week ago I was busy loading an Eland when my winch broke.

How heavy is an Elk? How did you load him on the truck or do you quater it and cary it to the truck. Just curious on how things are done in your part of the world.
