That looks like a great hunt for both you and your son. I may try to hunt black bear there, based upon your report.

Is there any issue in bring ammunition from the US into Canada? Does it have to be factory loaded or can one bring handloads.

I always wanted to shunt bear with my 62 cal ML DR but don't think I can travel with percussion caps and black powder. Too bad. It would make a nice story, taking a bear withan 185 year old rifle.

Did Sandy River Outfitters recommend someone who processed your hides into rugs?
