Daughter Carol and I saw 2 bulls and 4 cows on Sunday. We were unable to get the bulls closer as the cows were slowly moving off. When we worked out way down to them, we were able to get the smaller bull, maybe 42" within 100yds, but we couldn't pack him out of that tangle bad back that I have, so didn't shoot him. It almost killed me getting back to the truck carrying my rifle. We do have a draw for a big bull, but the range was too far for her. Maybe on Friday when we go out again. Too bad she's writing mid-terms this week.
: Later in the Day, I called 4 does (1 huge one, maybe 220lbs.) within 40 yards of us, but no bucks were around as it's a bit early for them to be with the does (about a month from now - different story)
