Adam Tayler, Good to be back........there are few if any caribou in that area.....we've only killed one in the last five years and have seen less than a dozen in that period of time. There are some great moose in the area, but it's so remote, it would cost a lot of money to get the meat and rack out.......two years ago we found a B&C moose, the remains, taken down by wolves. We saw two nice bulls near camp this season. As far as the dead willow goes, I cut most of it up with a pair of long handled branch loppers, the rest with a hand saw.....The Four Dog titanium stove(small one)only burns a little wood to keep the 12 man tipi warm; great piece of gear that stove. Hope your season went well.....I'm leaving in a couple of days for sheep w/a bow......drew a tag.......probably turn into a bear hunt by the time it's over. Joe |
