Ever tempted to remove back-straps, tender-loins and rumps yourself? Pork from hogs eating at your deer-feeder should certainly be good enough for stews etc, and safe enough after a couple weeks at -18 in the deep-freezer I would have thought. ...or is it not legal to do this in your jurisdiction?
What does freezing the pork for 14 days plus achieve? Kills parasites? What else? Work on the Top End pigs?
