Interesting article. I shoot both a 454 and 10mm. My 454 is purely a hunting pistol. It replaced my Contender in 375 Win because it offered a quicker follow up shot and was easier to shoot offhand. When I was in Alaska, I had my Glock 40 loaded with 220 gr Underwood, rated at 1200 fps because it has good penetration and I felt that I would have a better chance at several followup shots. The author paned the 10mm for shooters with "limp wrist" and recommended a 357 Mag revolver which he said can be had in small frames revolver. I am not sure people with limp wrist would be better with a light weight 357 Mag or in reality, any handgun. |
