Funny this is mentioned.. was telling my kids about this last night.. mainly because we saw a mtn lion down by one of our pastures late fall.. early morning he was headed towards the timbered ridge..Surprise, surprise,..that pasture has more than its fair share of badgers.. guess now I know why he was down there.. or possibly why he was.. the pivot is near, so lots of deer in that area as well..
