Well, now I no longer have the .458 2", however do have a Sharps in .45 1.9" that dupicates lever gun loads in .45/70.
I also have a .45/70 Model 1886/71 and a model 1876 in .50/95.
Still have the .376/06IMP with a muzzle break now that's easier shooting, but the favourite is my new 1936 Model 70 Winchester in .30/06.
I also have a couple 9.3x62's that get very little use.
The '06 is the new favourite with 165's and 180's. So much so, that I took the Burris scope off the .375 and put it on the model 70. The stadia
wires should give zeros to 400yards as they are set for 270gr. .375H&H factory ammo. The 180's from the '06 should be close. Shooting at the big
range next summer will tell that tale.
