I'm thinking likely Alaska as their alpha males run 140 to 145pounds or so, some 35 pounds under the BC wolves that were introduced to Yellowstone. I saw a biologist report somewhere that male wolves weighing 175 to 180 pounds were sold to the US in that first bunch of 50. |
