If it was true, they would probably not survive their first Nth American Winter (even with GloBULL Warming on their side).
The Skippy in the image, appears to be a Female, Red Kangaroo.
If you wanted a sub species that May be capable of surviving a Winter, the Eastern Grey's we have around here, May be the ones?

Yes Ripp, Skippy's really are made for Long Range decking.
When they sit upright, you can be out a fair bit on your range estimation, and still get a clean kill.
Mind you, Brain shots (out to 150 meters), account for 99.9% of my tally so far.
