This sort of experience seems to happen a lot with guided hunts all over the world. Unfortunately many hunters do not end up going on these trips of a life time for fear of having a similar experiences. I have to say that you seem to have had a really torrid time, sorry to hear that. The part about no local hunting pressure and when you get there seeing a gazillion locals seems to be pretty common.
