Depends on YOU. Here on the big island,its not uncommon to see 20_ bear a day. further on the west coast by boat no roads you see bears all day in all the bays and inlets. Until you hunt the island,its hard to believe how many blackbears we have here.
other places in Canada,where allowed baiting is the only chance you will have to even SEE a bear.
