Another great post by lancaster!! You are right and the little guy just might be a relative. My Mom's family in Nebraska hunted coyotes with greyhounds back in that time period up till about WW2. The dogs killed a lot of the yotes with the help of horses, old Model T's and shotguns. As for the hunter standing tall in the saddle, or rather, on it, that's a good horse, too, that will take a stack of hides like that. We have had both kinds.... ![]() |
