Quote: Good Morning Usually I wait for them to come in as close as I think before they start acting fidgety...but it all changes a lot depending on how much they have been called and type of terrain I am in..have shot them at 20 yards and have shot them at 200 or further..but, as I stated earlier, I really prefer fro them to come in as close as possible..when we call during their mating season or even early season it seems they are more apt to come in close..so we carry both 12 gauge shotguns and centerfire rifles..if they come running in and there are more then one its easier to get them all with the shotgun before they head out or figure out something is up.. thx Ripp |
