There's an old saying in Northern Minnesota "never honk (your auto horn) at a moose.
Moose seem to enjoy attacking tourists automobiles and making rather bad cans of them. August seems like their favorite time of year to make car fenders look like swiss cheese and they seem to know no enemies. Docile in appearance they can surprise you with their aggressive nature.
