I've only hunted Elk in Colorado. I never have taken one, but I'd like to try again one day. I've been told that the best value based on dollars is New Mexico.

That being said, I'd probably like to go to Wyoming, Idaho, or Montana for my next attempt, as much to see the country as anything else.
