Moose season here runs roughly Aug.20-Sept.20 so I'm usually gone up North by then to sheep & grizzly camp and can't hunt here during that season. One moose fills up a freezer and we eat quite a bit of it. There are moose here in the river bottom all year but especially now. Moose meat is excellent. I like elk also........Dall's Sheep & Stone's sheep are by far and away the best of the NA game meats imho. But they're all good, eh? Hope your season went well........things have slowed down now so I'll try to get you the pics I promised you from this year.
