I've eaten moose and thought it was delicious.....but I've also had elk that was extremely good as well. Personally I'd rate moose as the best wild game in North America.

Having said that Eland is still the best wild meat I've ever eaten.....one needs to get out a bit!!!

As far as disappearing acts, that north woods brush has a way of hiding about anything. Elephants could disappear at 10 yards in that stuff.
