Pre-Game Bunnies

Gents,

It was a nice, sunny and cold afternoon up here in Wisconsin (USA) today and a walk about looking for bunnies with my "scheinen" (ribbed) drilling seemed like the thing to do before sitting down to watch the Super Bowl. As it turned out the bunnies played along and gave me the three opportunities I needed to get my daily limit. They didn't make it easy though as they darted about in the thick brush bordering a firewood operation and some railroad tracks. This time around I ended up shooting all three with the 16 ga SXS tubes. I had one good opportunity to use the .22 barrel in the rib of the drilling but I think I sailed it high and missed. The nice thing about this particular drilling is a switch of a small lever behind the top lever instantly turns the gun from a single shot .22 to a SXS shotgun. I didn't pause to reload the .22 but instead swung the shot tubes a little forward of Bugs and took him out with the edge of the pattern. I had the trio cleaned and in the fridge in time to grab a beer and sit down for the game. I’m not a Ravens fan except for today so I'm thinking things went exceptionally well.

Regards,

Mark
