My friend Rod and I went out this weekend looking for some coyotes, chase some horses and check the fences on his property...

The coyotes were unusually difficult to bring in this time..not sure if they are getting on to us or just a bad weekend to bring them in..however on one set, I did a deer fawn bawl call...

After the first series of calls we had a mule deer doe and two fawns come blowing in..they ran to within 20 ft of the call..about 20 seconds went by when they bolted back from where they had come..we looked to our left and these two guys were rushing into the call as well..they didnt seem to like the follow up sequence that followed.....
