HUnting elk is an awesome experience. They live in some outstanding country. The views alone are worth the costs involved. I prefer to hunt wilderness areas away from the crowds. I hate running into lots of other hunters. The nice thing about Colorado is that there is plenty of free access to hunting on public lands. Like where this bull came from. I'll be back there again next fall.........having as much fun as ever
