Re: Latest Grizzly Kill, Anyone got the Facts?

We've been involved in anumber of animal mayhem situations over the years and two Rules I've driven home to my hunting partner/son are;

1] Forget the safety; Muzzle, Muzzle, Muzzle Control matters.

2] Just assume you will shoot clear thru the animal.

Both of these are relevant to defense shooting either two-or 4-legged predators.

Yesterday we had yet another interesting collection of bear episodes with our bear hunting friends. All black bear wit 4 caught; 2 treed, one fought on ground and refused to tree, the other holed up in a culvert, escaped, then ran a big loop and came back to the same culvert. We are pretty obsessed with where the dogs are at all times, hard to do in a melee, and messed up stuff happens.

As it did here.

2 of these bear were killed; the ground-fighter and the culvert-bear, as both these types are dog killers and injured several dogs yesterday. The two treers were left alone.

We are all getting more and more aware that grizzly can happen into the equation at any time, and will no doubt in the future. Lies, misinformation, propaganda, all of it pukes from the mouths and pens and keyboards of our Federal wildlife managers and their bed-partners the Radical Ecoterrorists.

ESA must be scrapped and wholly rewritten. Grizzly in the Lower 48 should be designated Special Predators in Idaho, Wyoming and Montana and along with wolves, extirpated from all private land and State lands yet again.

If the Feds want them in Y-stone, well, we can't say much. Outside the Park they both should be purged by whatever methods are species-specific and effective.
