larcher, calves and adults alike. Wolves kill bison and grizzly. Adult elk are normal fare and must be. Calves do not support wolf populations. Their caloric requirements demand adult elk, too. Here in Unit 6, Idaho Fish and Game Department has eliminated the cow elk season after 50+ years of successful cow harvest, this while habitat has been dramatically improving over the past 20 years. Cause? Wolves. Southeast of me, the great Lolo herds are devastated by wolves. Wolves are a disease that is coursing through the bloodstream of Idaho. Extirpation gave us 80 years of balance, 80 years of wildly successful game management and sustainable herds of elk and deer. 80 years to bring back from near extinction the Shiras moose. 80 years of filled game poles. Now we see restrictions on hunting, livestock depredations, rural lifestyles forcibly altered {when you find wolf track between the house and the swingset, you do not let your 6-year-old play on the swingset while yo take a nap in the house...}. Introduction of wolves was an act of eco-terrorism perpetrated on the people of Idaho by the Federal Government thru the rogue, enviro-terrorist US Fish and Wildlife Service, an organization that should be disbanded. The terrorist act was headed up by the terrorist extremist Ed Bangs, supported all the way by eco-terrorist organizations like "Friends of Wildlife" and "Earthjustice" {motto of the latter "Because the Earth needs a good lawyer}. If wolves were introduced by the US Army into Afghanistan and or Iraq, the US would justifiably be brought up on War Crimes charges. Yet that is what the Federal government has done to us. Americans perpetrating terrorism on Americans. Laws must be changed. |
