9.3 is correct - the draw buffalo hunt here is on open range (crown land) & is for wild animals. They've never been in a corral & have been 'wild' all their lives. Many guys get skunked on buffalo, as the bufflo migrate and if they happen to be on private land while you are there - you either pay the piper (rancher) or could be on someone's land who doesn't allow hunting and you run your hunting weeks out while waiting for them to vacate that land to somewhere where you can hunt. Most of the land up there is private - most of the ranchers have a day fee.
There is a ranch near Pink Mountain, I think, that has 'pet' bison, who charges only for room and board - not for one of their buffalo. I don't know what those 'rates' are nor how to find them. I've been told it's a 'canned' hunt ie; after you pay for room and board, you drive up to a corral and shoot a buffalo - whoopee! what a hunt! They handle gutting and skinning - included. Easy way for 1,000 punds of meat - IF they let you shoot a bug bull - ?????
