Where are you moving to?

The '06 has and can still handle all the game animals in Alaska. The problem is getting into a stopping situation in the thick and nasty alder and devil's club with a big enraged brown bear, where you really need something more.

The '06 will handle moose and caribou and bears and sheep and goats very well. There is a noticeable difference in killing effect between the 338 and the '06.

I really like my 338 for this state. It's the ideal cartridge for Alaska.
