Re: Hunting Wolves

Interesting with this thread going--in the local paper today there is an article on the reintroduction of wolves..has the usual liberal slant bullshit they all do--but even the liberals can no longer deny the carnage...admitting the northern herd has indeed be reduced by 50%-Interesting part however is they shut the study for the article down at 2005--guess all the wolves packed up and moved out after that...

Article states originally it was thought with the wolf introduction, the NPS estimated about 1100 elk would be killed per year by the wolves...well they under estimated and the herds have indeed been reduced...wow, imagine that, a goverment wrong in their studies and projections...the typical goverment entity f***s things up like there was a reward for it...

Oh, they FWP and biologists are also alleging that now with the wolves in place the worry of desease in no longer of concern as it once was..no shit, there aren't enough left to have a desease..but, my question is how much desease was there if herds were at an all time record?? Seems to me there was no desease problem to begin with..

Finally there are other predators that are contributing to the loss of elk, moose, big horn sheep and moutain goats...ironically the year before the introduction of wolves, FWP had stated grizzly and other predation was have an almost zero effect on the herds..which apparently was accurate..however now with a herd going from 21,000 to little over 4000 now...but I am sure there are other reasons ..certainly the wolves are no responsible
