Folks, remember that they radio-collared a BC wolfbitch in 1993 {two years before the introductions} that roamed down deep into central Idaho and back out. Wolves were always here, but not in the ridiculous numbers they are now.

And remember, there is a recovery area in the Southwest, too, so the whole West from Mexico and the Canadian border can relish the bountiful curse vomited out on us by the Federal government!

bwana, sorry, but your post reeks of quitting. NO, we are not quitting. We are not ready to give in, and your understanding of the West is just plain wrong. Ask yourself why we in the West got saddled with majority Federal control over the land supposedly within our State boundaries! Why is 70% of Idaho controlled by the Fed govt? Why? Because they robbed us of it when we were supposedly given "Statehood". No Eastern state had to settle for this. And none West should have either due to the principles of Statehood established in the Northwest Ordinance.

That's why.

So though we want our State, what we don't want is a Federal hunting license and...
