I know I have posted this before, but all one has to do is look at the late season hunts here in Montana around the Gardner area--elk have gone from a high of around 21,000 in the mid '90's to around upper 5,000 current--so their numbers are 25% of what they were in a little over 10 years..they the surrounding areas are now draw only for elk permits as the numbers are too low..

One of the major problems we have hear in Montana is there are way to many liberals getting in the Fish and Wildlife dept..they skew the numbers or try to justify anything they can to promote "THEIR" personal political agenda, scientific studies be damned....
