I've hunted that area and while the odd bear can grow very large, there just "ain't no mo'12' brown bear"!!!!! You could take a wet hide and pull on it with a truck and it still isn't going to make 12'.

The good news a brown bear doesn't need to square 10' to be an impressive trophy.
