I do question how a bear starts at a dead run from 20 yards away, you turn around, and still able to get a pistol out of a holster firing multiple shots from a very powerfull revolver (though from the hip). He's either the luckiest man alive...or he's lying.
Although the story may be perfectly true, I have an uneasy feeling about it.
