My younger brother found some dall sheep horns in Alaska while he was there....apparently it had died from old age???

they measured 36.75 on one and 36.25 on the other (length)

nearly 10 inches bigger....however, we're trying to figure out the age of that sheep or at least if it really died from old age. He said it didn't have any trauma to it that he could see....thus the old age guess. I didn't get to inspect it as I was not in alaska with him. We just have the horns.

If anyone has any experience with Dall sheep horn's I'd appreciate any thoughts.
