As for the grips, I'll ask sonny. I think he wants to goof around with them as a gun project of sorts. I.e., modify them and then keep them as spares. They are HORRIBLE as-is for heavy loads. The design forces the hand down about 3/4 inch and thus the axis of the barrel UP, and exaggerates recoil whip tremendously. Really bad design in my opinion.
