The bullets retained 70% and 90% of their weight after taking down a 1800 lbs water buffalo. For the record I watched them skin and quarter 2 bison. Their bones and muscle structure was nothing like the water buff and one gent there that was familier with cape buffalo said this water buff was a sturdy as any cape buff. The amazing thing is the bullet that broke the leg bone. It remained intact and kept plowing. A often overlooked part of cast bullet performance is the strength of the lead. Not just hardness. A maleable bullet with good hardness just gets more done. I will have pics of the bullets here tonight. reflex264 bullet #1 is the first shot. It broke the leg and hit the front of the lungs. bullet #2 is the second shot that ripped the hole in the heart and lungs before exiting the ribs and lodging in the offside shoulder. bullet #3 is a unfired 420gr Yes its good!!!!!!!! Cook it slow and low |
