Wondering if anyone else is getting the recent warm weather in snow country which has brought out the gophers in mass numbers...

My son and I went to the range today to sight in a new Anshutz 17MHR..took the long way home--it is 51F today--which is unusually warm for this time of year here..were able to smack almost 2 dozen gophers out on the snow and in the melting fields...

the 17HMR with shots 150 yards or less..leaves a very dramatic red mist on the snow as it smacks the gophers..really an amazing little caliber..one of my favorite spring time activities...
