Nice rifle!

I have had several Marlin .45-70's.

The one I have now I got in the first year of Ballard rifling and I like it alot.

Question, with heavy loads, has the forestock ever loosened? Mine did just a smidge so I bedded it in Acraglas and so far no more problems.
