Shackleton, You won't have to go far if you want to hunt feral pigs. I know of problem populations in Indiana and Wisconsin. In fact, I have been in touch with a scientist at the Wisconsin DNR and they have been particularly nice people to talk to. They have a problem population near Prairie du Chien and I gave them some suggestions on how we hunt pigs in India - their escaped cousins in North AMerica, it turns out, are not very different.
