Amazing. I am guessing moose are not hunted much in that area.

Re: USA or CANADA ?

Appears to be a hand fed moose. Probably reared as a calf by someone. Just a guess.

Fair guess I would say. I'm not trying it. I have been chased by a surprised moose before while fishing, not a particularly cool experience.

Must be Quebec, the only place where they pretty much speak French, Unless you go south of I-10 in Louisiana! My guess its somebodies pet moose. Looks like a very young Cow. Seems to me that its pretty neat never the less, I use to have this squirrel that hung out at my favorite deer stand, and I that squirrel came down the tree and sat on my shoulder for a bit. And ever day I hunted that season and the next that squirrel would park him or herself on my shoulder. Liked the company. I once gotten a wood chuck to trust me, and for four years we would sit under an apple tree in my back yard and just look at each other. Then new neighbor moved in next door and shot him, I very close to shooting that guy. Could not belief the photo's my mom had of him. That guy ended up rapping himself around a tree one night. His Mrs. was pretty good, to good for him though. I was 16 or so at the time.

No, there are a lot of French speaking people in Manitoba, as well as Ontario and New Brunswick.

Re: USA or CANADA ?

What gets me about these sorts of film is even though they are fun and entertaining is the "Bambi Syndrome".

The "Bambi Syndrome" of ignorant urbanites thinking, "Oh Wow, look at the friendly wild moose! Look at tame it is."

It goes through my mind as well and probably a lot of us, then experience tells us, even if the moose has never seen a human, they just aren't that friendly and tame naturally.

But the ignorant urbanite also questions hunters, "And hunters say how hard and challenging it is to hunt these wild animals?"

The Bambi Syndrome - If everything is treated with kindness and respect, all animals would just live in peaceful harmony and friendliness together.

Still a cool clip of a moose.

What gets me is that no one has commented on the drinking and driving.
