I am now trying to get a final bill from the emergency room.
They gave me a bill ($2,381 for 4 hours of time, in which they did almost nothing) and on that bill there were 9 lines in the itemization that were for services that they never did for me.
I pointed this out to the business office and they got all upset at me. Said I should "just pay it"
Well, I can't pay it, and if I were a wealthy man I WOULD NOT pay it if I am being billed for something that they never did!
So now they are going to 'go over the bill" and send me another one. The woman there threatened me and said if I made her do that she'd "find things that I was not being billed for now, and put them on the bill too"
What a crock!

Maybe I should send them a bill for a very high end German Jaeger and get them to pay me enough for me to turn the money around and pay all the things they want me to pay them for.
The fact that I didn't make the rifle, and the fact that I never delivered it to them seems to make no difference --------- if I play the game by the rules they are trying to set.

But with all that said, I can't pay them a thing yet, because by law, if I pay ANYTHING on a bill they send to me I am acknowledging that the bill has merit and so I must wait until I get this bill ironed out and all the details legitimized before I pay the 1st dollar, or I will be stuck paying it all, even if it's in error (or even a deliberate fraud)

I will let you know as soon as I get the bill in it's corected form.

I can't thenk you enough , but as you can see, I must wait until everything is in order---- or I would cause myself even greater problems.
