I need a colonoscopy soon, and I can't get it until I have it paid up front. (at least 50% of the cost.
My condition could be just an irritated bowel, or it could be diverticulitis, or it could be cancer. The problem is in Wyoming I can't go in for treatment until I can pay, and they can turn me away if I can't pay unless it's a "life threatening condition"
I have to HAVE CANCER for sure before I go in unless I have something to pay with up-front.
If I get the colonoscopy now I probably can head off cancer, but not if I don't have money up-front.

And now I am being billed $2380 for a 4 hour stay in the Riverton emergency room. Some of the bill if for serviced that were NOT rendered, and I am wound up trying to get them to understand that I can't (and won't) pay for something they didn't give me or do for me.
After 4 hours (at $600 an hour) I went home with them saying "we don't know what's wrong with you!
So now I have the bill AND the need to pay for the colonoscopy at another hospital, and nothing is going to happen in my favor until AFTER I came up with some major cash.
You see my problem?
