I just re-barreled my longrifle with a Goodeoin match barrel and was wondering what members are using in their .40 cal barrels. I'm not interested in what works in .45's as I already have a MOA (@50 yards) .45 RB barrel.
: I put the .40 on to compete in the Heffley Creek Rendezvous Squirrel rifle match restricted to .40 calibre and smaller.
: BTW - that is a 10 day shoot and get-to-gether - 150 competitors last Sept. It's growning by around 20 shooters a year over the last couple years. Individual clubs present, put on their shoots on specific days. The Heffley Creek boys only supply the range and 1 or 2 competitions. Trap, Ctg. and RB silouette, rifle matches, ML and Ctg. pistol, smoothbore, primitive archery and Cannon matches + special competitions and events for the juniors.
